The festival of lights – ‘Diwali’ is just around the corner. Its time to get dressed in your best and look super awesome! Deciding what to wear on Diwali can be really confusing – having answers to questions like – should I wear something traditional? Can I wear western clothing ?
To solve all of your problems, I have put together 3 looks that are trendy, extremely comfortable, affordable and Diwali “appropriate”. So scroll down & be Diwali ready!
- The ethnic chic
This outfit is all-Indian. It’s breezy and colourful. I wore a bright coloured skirt with a white top and a crinkled chunni. I have paired his look with pretty earrings and a bracelet as a choker. I twisted my hair away from my face to highlight my jewellery.
2.The last minute outfit
For this outfit, you just need a flowing dress, a skirt and a scarf and you are good to go. I paired this fun dress (I had from pantaloons) with a plain white skirt and a scarf. I added some bangles and earrings to complete the look. This is definitely a last minute outfit that you can just put on and be ready to go. It’s perfect for us lazy ones!!
3.The gorgeous sari look
This look is inspired from the Amazon fashion week outfits. I really loved the idea of not wearing the blouse in a sari and just wearing a casual t-shirt or a jacket. So I wore my mom’s lovely, brightly coloured silk sari with temple border and paired it with a an off-shoulder top as a blouse. I wore up my hair in a half-up half down look to show off my gorgeous earrings. For jewellery I also wore gold bangles and a huge ring to bring out the whole outfit.
So, these were my 3 Diwali outfits. Hope you liked them and got all the motivation to look super-duper this weekend. Happy Diwali!! See ya!
