I was in a mood to write something, so I decided to do a surprise post 🙂
As a new year approaches, people find way for a new start. They make resolutions and promise to do good on the past ones. I am the same, we all are.
So here, I am writing down some ways that will motivate and remind you of your goals that you have to achieve:
1.Make a vision board– As cliche it might sound, a vision board is the number one recommended way to stay on track. Why? that is because when you see your goals in front of you, morning and night, they will stay in your mind.
You don’t need to take a lot of time, and make a aesthetically pleasing board (like the ones on Pinterest); you can even make one on your phone. Just write down your goals, print out inspiration images and place them in whatever manner you like. It is that easy!
2. Keep a journal – Get a planner or a journal where you track down your progress. You can even make one online. This will keep you excited, especially when you start seeing results and force you to do better.
3. Future you– My third tip is to write down where you want to see yourself in the next year. Obviously this will focus on short term goal achievement and progress of long term goals.
Having a vision will really help define what you exactly want from the next 365 days.
4. A motivating friend– Having someone who knows your goals and pushes you constantly to achieve them is important.
Like a gym buddy who excersizes with you, or your college friends that group study with you or your best friend or a family member that helps you realise your dream. Having people around you makes you want to make yourself and them proud.
